The Rohingya National Education Board (RNEB) successfully conducted a two-day Rohingya Language Pedagogy Development (RLPD) training programme for Rohingya teachers to strengthen effective teaching methods and improve the quality of Rohingya language education.
The training was held from 2 to 3 October 2026 at Block C6, Camp-26, with the participation of 25 Rohingya teachers.
The programme focused on developing teachers' understanding of effective and learner-centred teaching approaches, classroom practices, lesson delivery, and methods for making language learning more effective and engaging for students.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Houmayoun Karim and MV. Shah Wali Ullah, who provided practical guidance and shared their knowledge and experience with the participating teachers.
Through the RLPD initiative, RNEB aims to continuously strengthen the capacity of Rohingya teachers and support them with appropriate pedagogical knowledge and teaching techniques. The programme also reflects RNEB's continued commitment to improving the quality of education while promoting and preserving the Rohingya language, culture, and identity.
RNEB believes that well-trained and motivated teachers are essential to creating effective learning environments and ensuring that Rohingya children have meaningful opportunities to learn their mother language.
RNEB remains committed to investing in teachers, strengthening teaching practices, and supporting quality Rohingya language education for present and future generations.
